Some of these news bits may be a couple days late. Sometimes irl gets in the way of my hobbies.

Comics!
Comic Book Resources has a link to the X-Men "family" solicitations for December. At a glance, Messiah CompleX seems to be the Madrox & Layla Miller show. Layla, you know...she knows stuff... about stuff....right. I have this sudden urge to just wait for the trade.

There is also a link to the Marvel Atlas. (it's there, keep scrolling) This is far more interesting. I love seeing where things are set, especially when the places may or may not exist. Definitely on the list to pick up.

Shulkie.com rocks my socks. They have an image of the variant cover for She Hulk 22. I find it to be quite bad ass. They also have some screen shots of Jen in the Fantastic Four animated series. (which you can watch on youtube here)

Kid Nemo Company has a cool T-Elos figure. - Sculpts like this really make me want to play the Xenosaga series - but I've been attempting to find time to play FF12 for roughly 6 months now with no luck.

Kotobukiya has a Catwoman figure (recent outfit with the goggles) up in their Batman series. I could do without the ass to camera picture, but they know what audience they're aiming for with that.

2 weeks later, the return!

In addition to all the personal stuff going on, & projects needing completion, I caught some sort of odd illness. Its like the Outer Mongolian Brown Spotted Racing Ostrich Flu or something. (Probably a stubborn cold virus more like.) I'm now on the road to recovery and one very, very large project has been completed. Things are moving forward and I can start posting on a more regular basis. So, to get started, have some creepy undergarment news with a dash of hug pillow and nom nom nom.

Heisei Democracy reports that a Samurai Spirits (Samurai Showdown) Iroha figure is up for preorder. Not half as bad with the clevage as one would think, although maid outfits with thongs can be disturbing. Priced at 7140 yen (aprox 57 usd).

• Soul Calibur Legends Japanese advertisement shows some (grainy) screenshots.
• Doki Doki Maho Shinpan video at Akiba Blog - completely inappropriate and chock full of badly translated Japanese (thanks for nothing Babelfish)
• Hayate the Combat Butler DS site opened. No information, but it's open.

Comics

• Sleestak's wordless review for New Avenger #31. Quoted for truth.
• Marvel.com reforms their character bio section into something quite fantastic (no pun intended) called Marvel Universe. It includes 'clouds' of who the character is connected to. Very, very cool. (info from Devil Doll)
• An interview with the body (but not the voice) behind Silver Surfer. Thousands have wondered if they saw his junk in the trailers (probably not)

Anime/Manga

• Pick up the box set of Diamond Day Dreams (aka Diamond Dust Drops) for a sweet $54.98 for 325 minutes of this slice of life series. (mmmm....delicious anime on the cheap)
• Centerfold of Urd from Ah My Goddess in the June Issue of Newtype. Best Centerfold. Evar.
• Also has ep 1 of Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl on the dvd. (threw me into a almost Strawberry Eggs level fit at the end)

Figures

• Gun X Sword figure Fasalina (most likely nsfw) apparently really really loves what she does. Literally. I think Pandora does this pose in Guitar Hero 2.
• Beautiful figure shots of Ryomou Shimei, (Blue Nurse version) from Ikkitousen at Happy Soda Bring all your kink together with this figure! Schoolgirl socks, the maid apron, the eyepatch, bondage queen with hand-cuffs, dominatrix hair-cut, beauty-marked, aggro-psychotic, submissive shy-girl, etc. Nevermind that her grappling fighting style just begs for artistic perversion, (and now in a nurse outfit as well!) Actually pretty SFW - worst you get is a panty shot.

Dixie Clemets figure

Small fig, huge price. 6 inch tall figure - 55 bucks. Wow.

Wait until this ships and the inevitable flood of crotch shots invades the internet. I'd feel guiltier on behalf of ol' Dixie, but her main outfit consists of ass-less chaps. The tiny bikini was just a matter of time. The pearl jokes are wearing thin though.

Witchblade / Jingai Makyo figures

Heisei Democracy reviewed the Masane (Witchblade Powered Up version) figure. It's huge! Attack of the 50 foot Masane (well not quite...)

Kid Nemo has a lovely Ignis (Jingai Makyo) figure up for preorder that will set you back a mere $103.99. Being from a galge - of course her skirt & top are removeable. (Dear otaku, stop touching your figures in that way. You're creeping the rest of us out) I wish this character didn't have such great design . ;_;

Cat Boys Toys!

Ah, I love the rare occasion that cool male figures come out (anime figs, there are a ton of comic book guy figures). Kotobukiya is releasing a Bardo figure, from the series Lamento: Beyond the Void - which in tun is based on a Yaoi/BL game. Bardo is available for preorder at Kid Nemo. His BL brethern Asaio & Konoe are currently available for preorder @ Statue Toys, but marked as 'Sold Out' at Kid Nemo. *shrug* The figures will set you back about 30 dollars each, but don't your FF : Advent Children guys need some friends to share the shelf with? *_*; Here is a fan site for info on the game Togainu no Chi - the game the boys originated in. Witchblade figure (Reina)

From a footnote at Heisei Democracy (still nsfw), a link to a very nice Witchblade figure. However, this one isn't of Masane - it's of Reina. I love Masane, but this figure is stunning. It's about 67 dollars US, but still, so very shiny.

For those that don't know...(via Wikipedia, but spoilers removed)
Reina Soho is a Forensics Medicine Specialist in the NSWF (National Scientific Welfare Foundation). [I always read that at NSFW, but anyway] She is a very intelligent, strong, and capable woman. Reina and her assistant, Shiori Tsuzuki, attempt to capture Masane to forcibly remove the Witchblade.

Take a look here -probably not work safe due to tiny Witchblade outfit and utterly disproportionate measurements.

Mary Jane find Lolrus' Bukkit, loses dignity

In a move of epic stupidity, probably resulting in massive sales, Marvel has released a Mary Jane (wifey of Spiderman) statue. Ol' MJ is barefoot, bewbs out, barefoot, washing Spidey's costume...wish a pearl necklace on. Yes, they went there. They LIVE there. Didn't we all agree that Emma Frost was the official slut of the Marvel U? Oh wait, it's She Hulk now ;_;

Why do I think the term "Comiquette" is soon going to be co-opted and mean something else entirely?

At least with a figure like Mai Shiranui, it's more along the lines of t&a followed by massive asskicking.
