Marvel comics are all over the place. All over the internets of late as well.
Being all over said intertubes, they've joined the Twitter bandwagon.

This rant at io9 about the Dodson cover for Uncanny 500 gives me the rage. There are times to complain about how women are portrayed in comics and then there is randomly pulling stuff out of your bum. Stuff like this is why people think that when legitimate complaints are made, they are ignored or mocked. Thanks for continuing to cry wolf!

Good call on your rant. Just because these pretty females are standing around doesn't mean that they are posing for sexual gratification. My view on their poses was that they seemed very in character.
Psylocke does not look like she is using her "arms to squeeze [her] breasts together" as they said. She just looks like she is sitting there, leaning on her arms.
Rogue's hands and full body posture actually draw more attention to her hooded face than her ass. (That is, if you can look away from her ass for a moment, which that poster obviously could not... Her eyes are up there, jerk.)
They are attractively drawn females in attractively drawn outfits. For some, that is all it takes to call them bimbos and see sexual postures.
Soul Calibur 4 got a similar bad rep when pics of Ivy and Taki started floating around showing how big their boobs are.
No one took into account that (not counting the manga creator extra characters) there are eleven female fighters.
Of those eleven women, only four are large breasted, the others are a mix of average to very small breasted women.
As usual in our often sexist society, everyone focused on the big boobs, and ignored all the other women who were smaller.
