So, about Cap's Death...

Please note: if you have not read Civil War: The Initiave, then this is a big old spoiler. You have been warned.

Either squint to read the text, highlight it with your mouse or click the image for the info.

While Marvel characters never stay dead, they at least pretend they are dead for a while. In just a couple weeks after his 'death', Ms. Marvel tells Spider Woman that Cap is not, in fact, dead, but he's
MM: "tucked away safe on the raft. No one knows. No one. They're trying to save his life as we speak"
SW: How is he not dead?
MM: What am I? A super soldier serum expert? He's not dead!

Later on in the page, Spider Woman says the whole situation "is bull". I agree, dear. Now, Carol could be lying, but Iron Man chews her out a few pages later for talking about it.

By the way, unless you absolutely MUST own all Marvel One shots, skip this book. It's mainly an advertisement for relaunching of the Avengers, Alpha Flight (now Omega Flight), and the Thunderbolts.

In other assorted obvious news, Tony Stark is an asshat.
