DC Comics on Facebook

They don't update as often as Marvel, but they're still good updates.

DC Nation on Facebook.

Oh Snap, Secret Six Preview Pages

I had almost figured out the villain last issue, but got the gender wrong. Then again, in Ragdoll's family, that's pretty easy to do.

Check out a 6 page preview at io9.

New Batman Arkham Trailer

Did you see this trailer yet? If yes, were pants peed? I want to see some of the other inmates too - Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn HAS to be in there. Wouldn't it be cool if some of the lesser known villians were in there, like Ragdoll? (currently kicking ass in Secret Six)

Also, regarding the voice acting, Kotaku says it best : Ah, Mark Hamill. You were born to play Luke Skywalker, but we live to hear you play The Joker.

Gamestop Preorder Malfuction (opinion)

So I was inquiring at my local Gamestop, on how they're doing with their preorders. Not so great, it seems. Not surprising with the economic downturn. I attempt to rectify their preorder situation by putting money down on My World, My Way - the Atlus parody rpg. You know how it is with Atlus games, they have low print runs so you really need to snap them up right away or risk not finding them at all. However, they do not allow pre-orders on this specific game. This happened to me before with King of Fighters XI. Apparently any titles that aren't GTA or "Teh Haloz" aren't available to preorder. In addition to this, the manager told me that games that are not available for preorder generally don't come in on their initial release date, they are shipped in a few days later. I could preorder this game on Amazon.com but I was hoping to use a 10 dollar credit I had.

Bleh, between the incredibly low trade "values" they offer and the absurd preorder siutation, it's really no surprise that people are just sticking online and trading through Goozex and preordering through Amazon.

DCU Online Trailer

The heroes and such look great, but I really want to see combat and character creation videos too. Lots of cons coming up so they're likely to bring an information flood.

(ps If I play I will totally be Oracle's flunky)

Persona PSP Remake

Adding to the list of reasons why I want a PSP, Negative Gamer reports that there will be a remake of Persona: Revelations for the PSP. I've not played the games in this series but the massive amounts of love and respect given to the series make me very interested.

Best Afro Ever?

Is it better than Keroro's Afro? Maybe! Kotaku reports on the new Final Fantasy XIII character (Sazh Kalzroy) with an epic afro and a love for baby Chocobos. I love him already. Click here for the picture and article.

More Delicious Wolverine

Well, delicious to me at least. Hugh Jackman is easy on the eyes. Kotaku reports that the X-Men Origins: Wolverine game site has opened. Since that is one long mouthful of a name, the site is just named uncaged.com. You can register (bleh) online for "exclusive" access (that will likely appear elsewhere on the internet in a matter or hours) to Wolverine Origins game info. In addition to game information, they have a link to the official movie site as well. (which is here, in case you forgot)

Spidey + Obama = BFF

So you've probably already heard about Spider Man #583 (it's all over mainstream news) - Spidey spots an Obama clone and kicks it's butt at the inaguration. However, for those of us that are comic geeks but don't read Spider Man - if you wanted a copy and it's not on your pull list, odds are not looking great for getting a copy the first printing of the book. It's already sold out at distributor level.

I'll probably hop on the bandwagon for the second printing. While this is super gimmicky, with the recession and the waning popularity of print media - I don't blame Marvel for doing this. It will be a good shot in the arm for the local comic shops.

Anyway, more details on the print runs and information that is relevant to comic book geeks read the Newsarama post.
