Sexy Funeral?

Oh this is a great example of 'I did it for the lulz'

Ruigong had made a promise to his father that if he lived past 100 years old, he would have a stripper dance at his funeral.

Jinlai would have been proud to know that he went out in style, with a $160 stripper dancing for 10 minutes in front of his coffin.

Read the entire article here. (with pics! no nudity though)

This was good enough to merit it's own post. It's Ultimates 3, but with new word bubbles added. Very funny. Click here to see the Ultimate Edit.

Not So Fresh Blog Dump

Some of these news bits may be a couple days late. Sometimes irl gets in the way of my hobbies.

Comics!

Comic Book Resources has a link to the X-Men "family" solicitations for December. At a glance, Messiah CompleX seems to be the Madrox & Layla Miller show. Layla, you know...she knows stuff... about stuff....right. I have this sudden urge to just wait for the trade.

There is also a link to the Marvel Atlas. (it's there, keep scrolling) This is far more interesting. I love seeing where things are set, especially when the places may or may not exist. Definitely on the list to pick up.

Shulkie.com rocks my socks. They have an image of the variant cover for She Hulk 22. I find it to be quite bad ass. They also have some screen shots of Jen in the Fantastic Four animated series. (which you can watch on youtube here)

File Under: Do Want
The otaku has a Tencho Muyo Ryo Ohki dvd box set review.
This will be mine. It is just a matter of time.

Kid Nemo Company has a cool T-Elos figure. - Sculpts like this really make me want to play the Xenosaga series - but I've been attempting to find time to play FF12 for roughly 6 months now with no luck.

Kotobukiya has a Catwoman figure (recent outfit with the goggles) up in their Batman series. I could do without the ass to camera picture, but they know what audience they're aiming for with that.

File Under: LOLWHUT.
The crane machine has evolved! It is a robocrane and seems far more fair than all other crane machines combined. Japan only, natch. Check out Danny Choo dot com for the video.

There is an eroge called "Period"
. I can't make this stuff up, folks.
-zepy @ canned dogs found it.

Everything else....

I'm here to amuse and disturb you. Is it working?

Gia says that 8 /01 is Yaoi Day because "on Japanese cell phones 8=ya, 0=O, 1=I, blah blah blah 801 Media blah blah." I wish I'd known this sooner. I would have emailed my friends inappropriate pictures and went out to buy Y!Smut. Drat. Instead, I'll torture you with a disturbing Final Fantasy fanart.

I now officially will add a hug pillow tag to this blog. ;_; Srsly.
Heisei Democracy & Majoria's News report of a Masane Witchblade hug pillow (proper Japanese term is Daki Makura, and I should probably start using it). This pillow doesn't particularly offend me, as Masane is an actual grown woman and is (exaggeratively) drawn as such. On the far opposite spectrum, a Doki Doki Maho Shinpan hug pillow has been released as well. For you lol-pervs. PedoBear Approved. nsfw, dood.

A New Cutie Honey has been cast for an upcoming Cutie Honey tv drama. Bishoujo Club 31 member Mikie Hara will "fill" (hah.) the role. Her qualifications? Giant knockers. Looks like a gravure model to me. Bikinis with some "spillage" - probably nsfw.

In US geek news, there was a Heroes panel at SDCC. Newsarama has some of the highlights. I am so relieved that I was not the only one that noticed this before their actual story was revealed.
Excerpt: An Australian fan queried Panettiere about the much-discussed Peter/Claire chemistry. Ventimiglia: “They…are…related. End of story. I’m flattered, but…” Panettiere pointed out the age difference between her and Ventimiglia, and asked, “Which is creepier, the fact that he’s my uncle, or the fact that there’s….” Ventimiglia replied, “Uncle. Uncle.” He then pointed out that the characters had “hooked up” on the level that they had an emotional, caring, protective relationship, along with a strong bond.

Momoi backpedals! After posting about how anime expo, the "Queen of Akihabara" Halko Momoi has essentially issued a retraction. She erased the negative post and replaced it with the one shown here.
Exerpt: I’m sorry for making you worry with the things I wrote on my blog, and also for canceling my autograph session to prepare for my concert. When I received so many words of encouragement and presents at my panel, I thought to myself “I must make this performance a success.”

2 weeks later, the return!

In addition to all the personal stuff going on, & projects needing completion, I caught some sort of odd illness. Its like the Outer Mongolian Brown Spotted Racing Ostrich Flu or something. (Probably a stubborn cold virus more like.) I'm now on the road to recovery and one very, very large project has been completed. Things are moving forward and I can start posting on a more regular basis. So, to get started, have some creepy undergarment news with a dash of hug pillow and nom nom nom.

Freaky deaky antigravity pantsu. First seen on a ecchi figure, actually exist. (link ok, pics in link probably nws, but not too bad.) - source: Happy Soda

Gurren Lagann character Yoko will be the 'object' of affection this August as her image will adorn a 'hug pillow'.
-source Heisei Democracy -site is ok, don't click on the pics at work, k?

Great cat or greatest cat? Either way, this corn on the cob eating cat is ridiculous cute.
source: Japan Probe (work safe 99% of the time, but there is a giant bikini model article, so the cat link is safe, but the main link has bewbs upon scroll.)

Thursday recap

Ok, so I'm late today. Let's recap.

Suddenly - Minions! Thousands of Them!
Dynasty Warriors & Samurai Warriors had a kid - and it's Orochi Warriors. 77 characters to choose from. Kotaku is less than impressed. As for me, my socks are rocked. IGN has pictures.

Scary Bewbs Ahoy!
Jessie has boobs, and now, James has boobs... just not in America (damnit Kotaku, you posted this no less than 30 seconds after I did. Yes I know it's hella old.)

Rio Natsume's boobs absolutely cannot be real. There is no way (nsfw due to....boobs, duh)

A New Hero Appears!
Although Miss Universe was up for this role, Erico Tamura has snagged a new role on season 2 of Heroes. She'll play a Japanese princess. +10,000 points if they squeeze an "oh ho hoh hoh" laugh out of her. Unlikely, but if they did I may drop dead from the glee.

I'm CONFUSED about B:
B Jenet - maybe the announcer wasn't saying it wrong in KOF Max Impact 2:
Her name is B. Jenny, she is 5'5, weights 108 pounds, and has type AB blood. She likes martial arts, nail art, and violating territorial waters. She dislikes diesel-powered ships. Her special skills are synchronizing her stomach's clock to within one minute of real time. Her nickname is "the Corsair Under the Skull and Crossbones." Actually Jenny Behrn, daughter of the Behrn family, came to loathe her luxuriant but tedious life and left home to form the Reeling Knights pirate band, which vowed to steal for the weak and poor. In her dress with its skull-and-crossbones pattern, B. Jenny plays the role of a grown woman, but she can't avoid her childish tendencies! (via Kid Nemo)
Huh. If it's B Jenny, then why do they keep listing her as Bonne Jenet? It's okay, because we all call her "B" anyway.

In the Marvel U.
Don't lose your X-Men Endangered Species checklist. It's already started - the one shot dropped yesterday.

I thought I knew it all about Rogue, until I read this. I had no knowledge of the Rogue/Dazzler beef. I am an unworthy fangirl.

If you'd like your head to explode in a mass of alternate universe/retcon confusion, read about Pennance/Hollow. (all I wanted to know was how she ended up in The Loners #3!)

Ok, Hecatomb - Rogue absorbed it, but it's a giant metal ball fulla minds. Since when can she absorb non-humanoid things? Retcon much, Marvel? (we are comic book geeks, we notice these things!) Cable is still trying to fight the Hetacomb but he loses. The alien kills and consumes the mummudrai and is about to eat Cable when Cannonball saves him. Rogue flies in and finds out that the alien feeds on and is made up of minds, and she knows exactly what she has to do. She goes inside it and absorbs the 8 billion minds that make up the Hetacomb. All that's left of the living weapon is a floating bomb, but it's still a huge danger. (via comicvine)
